Audio
Audacity is free software program to edit and "clean" audio files recorded at investigations. Its very easy and simple to use
Goldwave is a free software program for editing and has more advanced features.
Video
Video Pad Video Editor (free) is pretty user friendly software to start editing videos recorded on paranormal investigations.
Lightworks has a few more features but there is still a free version.
File Conversions
Online Audio converter is great for converting video files like MP4's to audio files like MP3's and WAV, and its free.
You tube-mp3.org is a great free website where you can convert any you tube clip to an mp3 file.
