Have you ever seen movies were someone is considered Telepathic and it’s this loud and dramatic kind of experience with booming voices in their head, clear conversations - like psychic messages are delivered as text messages from the universe?
In reality it’s considered a much quieter experience and can start as a thought that doesn’t feel like your own or an emotion that seems to come from someone else.
Most people who experience telepathy aren’t trying to. Much like those who experience predications and premonitions.
It happens spontaneously, especially in moments of strong emotion, danger or some kind of deep focus.
People who experience Telepathy can feel as though they know what someone is about to say before they say it – and not because of any type of body language or visual clues.
It’s about that “knowing” but not knowing where from.
A name.
A feeling.
A memory that isn’t theirs.
A message that’s as clear as if someone whispered it — without any sound at all.
For some sensitives, telepathy is the main way they communicate with what they consider “non-physical entities”. The exchange isn’t with words; it’s emotional and instantaneous. And interestingly, can possibly give more detail than spoken word.
But how do we approach telepathic experiences as investigators?
First: with grounded curiosity.
Telepathy is very subjective, but that doesn’t mean it’s unreliable. It simply means we need to have a more logical mindset.
Second: documentation of patterns.
When multiple people receive similar impressions independently, that can be an indicator that something meaningful is happening. Telepathy is rarely a one singular person event.
Third: watch for emotional intensity.
True telepathic impressions have a specific emotional tone — calm, neutral, matter-of-fact. It’s not about fear or imagination.
Fourth: explore personal sensitivity.
Some individuals consider themselves naturally telepathic, empathic and intuitive and are motivated to further develop this sensitivity.
Telepathy does pose an interesting question. If 2 minds can communicate without words or a human mind can communicate with a non-physical intelligence… and of course this is if,…. what does that say about consciousness? There may not always be a constant connection but maybe sometimes under different scenarios.
Maybe consciousness is like a phone network and maybe communicating non verbally is something that isn’t exclusively for those who feel they have a “gift”.
